These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CheckMate.bio (the "Service"), operated by IASolutions. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
CheckMate.bio is a reverse email lookup and OSINT service. You submit an email address and we return a report of accounts and profile metadata associated with that address on publicly observable online services. A basic search is free; a detailed report is available for a one-time fee of $0.99 USD paid via PayPal.
The Service is not offered to residents of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom. Access from these regions is blocked at the network edge. You represent that you are accessing the Service from outside these regions and that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
You agree to use the Service only where you have a genuine legitimate interest. Examples include:
- Personal safety checks on people you are about to meet or transact with.
- Due diligence on potential business partners, contractors, or collaborators.
- Auditing your own digital footprint.
- Investigating suspicious activity linked to an email you control or administer.
You must not use the Service to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate any person.
- Investigate, profile, or compile information about minors.
- Make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other regulated purposes that require a consumer-reporting-agency license (e.g., under the US Fair Credit Reporting Act).
- Bulk-enumerate email addresses, resell the Service, or scrape results to construct a derivative database.
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, or induce us to do so.
- Attempt to bypass the EU/EEA/UK geo-block, rate limits, payment verification, or any other security control.
We may suspend or terminate access for any user we reasonably believe is violating these rules, without notice and without refund.
The detailed report is sold as a one-time digital product for $0.99 USD. By purchasing, you acknowledge that the report is delivered immediately after payment and waive any right to cancellation that would otherwise apply to digital content.
If your detailed report is delivered and contains no matches with a confidence score of 50% or higher (that is, every match falls into the "Possible matches" low-confidence section), you may request a full refund by emailing support@checkmate.bio within 14 days of the purchase and referencing your PayPal order ID. We will verify the report and, if the condition is met, refund the $0.99 fee to the original payment method.
We may, at our sole discretion, refund a purchase where the Service failed to produce any report due to a technical error on our side. No refund is offered for dissatisfaction with the content of a report that correctly reflects publicly observable data.
Reports are provided to you for your own informational use only. The Service does not persist reports beyond short-lived session storage. You are responsible for how you use, store, and share any report you retrieve, and for complying with applicable law when you do so.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
Results are generated from third-party public sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You must not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any consequential decision. Treat every report as a lead, not a conclusion.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IASOLUTIONS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $5.00 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IASolutions from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms, including any prohibited use listed in Section 4.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also revise these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator (IASolutions) is established, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection law grants you a non-waivable forum.
